Digital Insight, a business unit of NCR Corporation, is a leading technology company building and delivering a SaaS online banking platform. We power the digital banking experience across web, mobile and tablet for approximately 11 million users across 1000 small and medium Financial Institutions in the USA.
The Digital Insight engineering team consists of over 250 Software Engineers and Architects located across core locations in Bengaluru (India), Edinburgh (UK) and Redwood City (California, USA).
This role is as part of a centralised team which provides guidance, standards and support to engineers within the product development teams globally. You will help develop, maintain and improve our software build & deployment pipeline.
As a Build & Deploy specialist, you will help define our next generation process and infrastructure as we move towards Continuous Delivery. You will support engineering teams, globally, to adopt new technology and work closely with the Operations team to ensure successful implementation in production at scale.
In particular, responsibilities will include:
You are a passionate DevOps/Build and Deploy engineer focussed on automation and continuous improvement. You will be an expert in build & deployment processes with hands on experience using and managing Continuous Integration tools and deployment infrastructure.
You will have a strong programming & technical background and use this expertise to drive automation and self-service tools throughout the development, build & deployment lifecycle.
You will be experienced working in a SaaS/hosted environment focussed on high availability and quality. You understand the challenges of a high scale system and organisation.
While knowledgeable of good engineering practice today, you continuously seek to improve processes and infrastructure. You are connected to the wider DevOps community and able to identify which emerging tools and patterns should be adopted. You will have led or influenced change in previous roles.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be at ease working across teams both locally and globally.
