Our People: Federico Bellucci

Federico graduated in Computer Science at the University of Pisa in Italy. After study, he used his interest in data visualisation and 3D graphics as a researcher in human-computer interaction. A career switch followed when he became a web developer, working in cultural heritage and public administration. It was here that he discovered his passion for graphical user interfaces.

Federico’s work took him around the world. In October 2018, he came to Edinburgh to join NCR’s Connections team. He is delighted that his role lets him use his favourite programming language; Javascript, and that NCR encourages developers to improve themselves with training days, guilds and Codefest.

Away from work, Federico was previously a keen attendee of theatre classes. His move to the home of the legendary Edinburgh Festival has him seriously considering a return to the stage. He also enjoys contemporary art and good food. He is competent in the kitchen, particularly with desserts!
