Apollon Koutlidis

Apollon joined NCR Edinburgh in 2015 as a Senior DevOps Engineer for the Ticketing Solutions team. His career spans more than twenty years in Greece and Scotland, delivering available and reliable IT services in business environments ranging from Higher Education through Marketing Research to Telecommunications.

In his role, he gets the opportunity to bring together diverse technologies and agile methodologies to deliver a world-class ticketing service. He also gets to keep up with emerging software technologies by participating in the company's Guilds.

Outside working hours, Apollon likes to travel, listen to and play music, and loves watching films; a love he can share with his colleagues on the regular movie nights!

Apollon has been in love with Edinburgh since the time he moved from the original Athens, to the Athens of the North, nine years ago. Thanks to the flexible holiday scheme, he can follow many of the city's countless cultural happenings, not least the August festivals.
