Francisco Modesto

Francisco’s interest in computers began at very early age. He started writing his first programs in an old 8086 his dad borrowed from work. After endless nights with his computer he decided to make a life from his hobby, and studied computer science.

In his last university year, he moved to Sweden. He enjoyed the experience so much, he missed his flight back to Spain and remain there for four more years. Once he thought it was time to settle down, he moved back to Spain but fortune wanted him to join a company where he spent most of his time traveling to the UK.

He found Edinburgh city so beautiful, he decided to settle down there. In October 2015 he joined NCR Edinburgh as a Software Engineer for the Digital Insight team.
