Jorge Almeida

Jorge joined the NCR Edinburgh family in July 2017 as a System Administrator joining our AOC team.

Jorge comes from a city close to Barcelona called L’ Hospitalet de Llobregat however he has been living in Scotland for almost 6 years now. After arriving in Edinburgh, Jorge found himself working in non-technical jobs for a while until decided to return to his studies and graduated in BEng (HONS) Computers Security and Forensics at Edinburgh Napier University.

In Spain, he worked as a IT technician for several years in a call center giving support to Movistar mobile customers.

Outside of work, Jorge likes to hang out with friends, listen to good music, play sports and playing the guitar (amateur level). He also enjoys outdoor activities such hiking and camping.
