Mathieu Gaudin

Mathieu recently joined NCR in September 2016 as a System Administrator after completing a BEng (HONS) Computers Systems and Networks degree at Edinburgh Napier University. He is from a great place called Annecy in the French’s Alps surrounded by natural lakes and mountains sometimes covered by snow! His exciting adventure in Scotland began when he arrived through a university exchange programme in order to challenge himself after completing a Technological University Diploma in Networks and Telecommunications at University of Savoy Mont Blanc in June 2014.

He has enjoyed working so far at NCR Edinburgh where he has found himself surrounded by a warm and friendly environment, and a welcoming team that work to make every day easier. He is perpetually thirsty to discover and learn new things by working on highly technical concepts or by talking with people from different cultures.

He naturally likes and practices various outdoor activities from hiking, skiing to windsurfing as well as collective sports. He has participated in, for almost 6/7 years, free-style wrestling at competition level in his home town and has been involved in numerous events for his fighting club, as well as being willing to lean and practice more cross-oriented fighting styles. In his free time, Mathieu is always happy hanging out with friends whether it involves a last minute road trip or just meeting them for a relaxed drink at the weekend.
