Matt Leah

Looking for a complete change, Matt joined NCR in November 2016 after spending nearly two decades in the Oil and Gas business based in Aberdeen. NCR Edinburgh has certainly given Matt the change he desired providing the opportunity to work with a range of new tools and technologies. One of the reasons that Matt chose to join NCR is the focus on continuous development. Everyone, through their 10 training days a year, is given the opportunity and encouraged to learn about topics that interest them but are not directly related to the day job.

Despite living in Scotland for so long, Edinburgh is an unfamiliar city to Matt and he is enjoying exploring his new home. He likes the fact that Edinburgh has all the benefits of city life, but also the relaxed atmosphere of a small town. There is always something happening in the city to get involved in.

When not in the office Matt loves to travel and is always planning the next adventure with his girlfriend. The next big trip he hopes to make will be to South America. Closer to home, he is also something of a craft beer fanatic and is always on the hunt for new beers and breweries to try. One day he hopes to have the time a space to start brewing his own beer.
