Kevin Grant

Kevin joined NCR Edinburgh in January 2011 and is currently working on the NCR Web Promote product as the development team lead. He works primarily with Java Enterprise software, but has also enjoyed several diversions into the JavaScript world, working with technologies such as AngularJS and NodeJS.

Kevin likes working with other developers to build high quality software. He enjoys the opportunities offer by NCR Edinburgh to attend conferences (QCon and ScotlandJS to name just two) and using training days to take time in learning about new technologies.

Aside from the daily technological challenges, Kevin also enjoys regular lunchtime walks up Arthur's Seat – a ten minute walk from the office, and a favourite mid-day activity of many of the staff. He also cycles to work, and holds the dubious honour of being responsible for the only entry in the office's accident book – a scrape which occurred on a nearby street.
