Mike Borozdin

Mike works at NCE CoDE as a Software Engineer. Currently, he contributes to the NCR Connections project, a complex ATM software solution. Mike is very happy with his role: it allows him to work in an Agile environment and apply the best engineering practices, such as Test Driven Development.

In addition, Mike is constantly trying to learn from his colleagues and is keen on sharing knowledge himself. Hence his central role in organising weekly technical sessions ('Dips and Discussion'), where the whole team can discuss cutting-edge technologies or interesting programming approaches.

Mike's first encounter with the gorgeous city of Edinburgh occurred when he came here to do his Master's degree. After that, Mike also lived in Italy and Germany, where he did part of his degree and also worked in research. Having spent a year in continental Europe, Mike returned to Britain, where before joining NCR CoDE he worked for a cloud-computing consultancy.

In his spare time, Mike is trying to learn to play guitar, pick up a new foreign language and add further travel destinations to his 'visited' list.
