Henry is currently part of the Engineering Excellence team with responsibility for improving code quality across the organisation. Having written some truly terrible code in his time he feels well qualified to help others avoid the same mistakes.
He is also Director of Coffee and ensures the office has a supply of good quality fair trade arabica beans.
Henry is the author of several open source projects including the PIT mutation testing system which is popular enough to feature on the Thoughtworks tech Radar. He's active in the Java community, organising the Edinburgh Java User group and occasionally speaking at conferences.
He lives in Edinburgh with his wife and two children and is very proud of the 1978 Claud Butler touring bike he rescued and rebuilt wheels-and-all. It's blue.
